2016 Meridian Arts Alliance
“Color Your World”
Art, music & dance from around the world are taking over our school! Arts Alliance brings artist from the community to our students. Visual arts, dance, culinary, theater, and music are all represented. Come see performances from artists such as Native American dance group “Paint Horse”, The Love of China, and Austin Bella Corda. Watch culinary arts presentations. Talk with and see 2-d and 3-d artists working. Explore digital art in our digital arts room. There will be lots of opportunities to create your own artwork and explore the world of art!
All Ages Coloring Book Design a page for the Arts Alliance All Ages Coloring Book! Arts Alliance is assembling Meridian's version of the incredibly popular coloring books for adults. Our coloring book will be designed by students, parents and staff members and will be available for purchase at the Arts Alliance event. To submit a coloring page, please download the template, instructions and sample here. Coloring page submissions are due Friday, January 8th. Please see the instructions for more information.
Meridian's 2nd annual Arts Alliance is Saturday, January 30th. The T-shirt for this event is very special! It has been designed so that students can express themselves and show their creativity within the design. Fabric markers will be available at the event for families to use to customize their Arts Alliance shirt, which can be worn as spirit wear on Fridays. (Some restrictions may apply.)
