1:00-2:00                 Varsity Tryouts (by invitation only after High School Skills Tryouts)

2:00                           Varsity Results. (Those who do not make it are encouraged to stay for JV Tryouts.)

For Varsity and JV candidates, participation in the High School Skills Assessment from 8:00-10:00am is required. Based on this skills assessment, the coaches will let the student athletes know if they are invited back to the Varsity Tryouts at 1:00pm, the JV Tryouts at 2:00pm or neither.  For those student athletes asked to tryout for the Varsity team who do not make that team, they will be encouraged to stay for the JV tryouts. 

Varsity

• Can jump serve
• Can spot serve (overhand)
• Has understanding and can execute the 3-step approach
• Can pass a free ball to target (8 out of 10)
