Cross Country Meet - "Battle for Wilco" - Leander HS

The course goes around the 2 mile loop surrounding the park/cricket field. The course is primarily crushed granite, grass, and does have a few road crossings. The course will be flagged and marked with a chalk line and we will have plenty of course workers to help athletes navigate the course and keep the roadways safe for the runners to cross during their race.  

Spectator Parking: (from the race organizers): Parking details: Spectators will park at the track parking lots and overflow can park at the softball/baseball field lots. The course does cross a few driveways/entrances to other portions of the park. They will let cars through during gaps in the race and between races. Please advise your parents/fans coming to the event to follow the blue line on the map for parking to reach their appropriate parking lot for the race. It will make the flow of traffic much smoother. There is absolutely no parking allowed on the side of the road or in the grass in any part of the park.

Team Camp: Team camps will be set up in the grassy oval in the middle traffic oval between the track and soccer field parking lots. Athletes cannot set up hammocks along any of the fencing or small trees in the park.

Restrooms: Will be located near the tennis courts and also at the track.

Meet shirts will be available for sale for $10and Kona ice will also be out selling sno-cones throughout the event.
