Rain Garden Community Planting Workday

We invite our Meridian community to join us Saturday, October 30 at 9 am as we complete the planting of a rain garden built with donations from our families. We will plant native and adapted plants in a newly constructed garden that both mitigates flooding and acts as an educational resource for classrooms. We will also replant a Monarch Waystation Garden and do some clean up work around our primary playground.
In support of our rain garden workday, we have partnered with Round Rock Garden Center to help with the purchase of plants and mulch for the Monarch Waystation Garden.

From Tuesday through Oct. 30, if you shop at Round Rock Garden Center and tell the cashier during checkout that you are affiliated with Meridian School, ten percent of pre-tax sales will go toward Meridian, through the Center's "Give and Grow" fundraising program. The school will use the proceeds to purchase plants and mulch.
