Prospective families:
If interested in entering the lottery for admission in the 2022-2023 school year, applications are open between January 1, 2022 and February 28, 2022. Families must be living in Williamson County.
When can I apply? Applications may be completed at any time between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28 to be entered into the lottery.
Do I need to set an alarm for 12:01 am Jan 1? Nope, there's no rush! All applications received between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28 will be entered into the lottery.
Do any applications receive priority status?
Priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled Meridian students, as well as children of Meridian staff members.
I currently have a child enrolled at Meridian. Do I need to apply for their sibling, who is not currently enrolled? Yes! Please complete an application for all new students. There's no need to apply for students already enrolled. However, if a sibling will be new to Meridian in the 2022-2023 school year, please turn in the application for the sibling between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28. Siblings receive priority enrollment.
What if I miss the applications window? Once the lottery closes Feb. 28, applications received will be placed at the bottom of the wait list.
When do I hear if my child has been offered a spot in the lottery? The lottery takes place in mid-March. Meridian School will notify families if their children are offered a spot, and will share next steps.
What are my child's chances of being offered a spot? The school typically receives hundreds of applications each year per grade level, especially among lower grades.
