Medicaid/CHIP renewal notice from Texas Department of Health and Human Services

Based on federal law, continuous Medicaid coverage ended on March 31, 2023. Even if adults in a family are not eligible for Medicaid, children could still be eligible for CHIP. Renewal notices will be mailed in yellow envelopes or sent electronically if you have a Your Texas Benefits account. Respond by the due date to keep your family’s coverage if you’re still eligible.
