At last night’s Board Meeting, Mr. Fernández announced that several Meridian students have received scholarships to attend one of two IB World Student Conferences offered this summer.
The International Baccalaureate Organization awarded Avery Tyndall with an all-expense paid scholarship to attend the Switzerland conference in July. Avery was the only Texas student to receive a scholarship from IBO.
Gabrielle Lewis was also awarded with a full scholarship to the Switzerland conference from Texas International Baccalaureate Schools. This was her second year in a row to receive a full ride!
Texas IB Schools also awarded partial scholarships to Ellie Dieringer, Aaron Gonzalez, Anna Jackson, Taran Nudurumati, Gabriel Odom, and Madeline Work. These students will receive all but their airfare at no cost (this includes registration, food, and lodging).
We’re proud to report that Meridian students received 7 of the 11 scholarships granted by Texas IB Schools.
