On April 15th, the Heart of Texas Counseling Association in Waco honored our secondary counselor, Carrie Proctor, with their Community Engagement Professional Development Award. This award is given in recognition for outstanding service to the counseling profession within the region. Carrie has served on the Texas Counseling Association Board of Directors for the past 6 years representing counselors in the 33 counties designated as Region 5 for Central Texas. HOTCA's leadership has also nominated Carrie to be considered for an award at the state level; the Dr. Jamesanna Kirven Outstanding Counselor award. It is an honor to be nominated for this prestigious award.
