2017-2018 School Report Card

We're pleased to share Meridian received an overall ‘Met Standard’ with a numeric score of 94 and with distinction designations in ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The full report card can be found HERE. This year was the first year that traditional public schools received a letter grade, A-F. It is the intent of TEA to issue all schools letter grades beginning Fall 2019.

Each August, Texas schools receive a preliminary academic accountability report  from the previous school year. Meridian uses the preliminary report to create a Campus Improvement Plan, which is then approved by the Board. The State issues the ’School Report Card' in January.

As stated on TEA's website, "The school report card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance."
