Fall Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer (2024)
Registration is now closed!
About Developmental/Pre-Season Sports Experiences
While there are no tryouts for Developmental/Pre-Season sports experiences, they are not designed for beginners but rather intermediate-level student athletes who have some experience with the sport and are committed to using this opportunity to grow their skills and get ready for tryouts for the competitive season. Students who do not wear proper attire or come with a good attitude ready to train hard could be removed from the program. Because 6th graders cannot try out for competitive sports, there will be limited spots available for 6th graders in Developmental sports.
About Fall Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer:
- Experience level: Intermediate. Participants should know the fundamentals of the sport and have some experience playing it.
- Commitment level: Participants are expected to attend in proper attire and have a positive, hard working attitude.
- Equipment & Attire: Students will need to provide their own soccer ball. Participants must wear athletic clothes, shin guards, and cleats to all practices. Students must bring a full bottle of water to each practice. Failure to dress properly and bring water will result in the student being asked to sit out that practice.
- Eligibility: Physical Eligibility and Financial Eligibility. Academic eligibility does not apply to Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer. Physical forms due Thursday, August 22. Learn more here.
- Tryouts: No tryouts.
- Competitions: None. Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer is training only -- no competitions.
- Lettering: Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer does not qualify for lettering.
*Registration fees are paid upon registering. Participation fee invoices will be issued via MySchoolBucks after registration closes. Participation Fees are based on hours of training and facilities costs.

- Please do not register for the incorrect group. Registrations for the wrong group will be canceled.

Competitive Soccer Season - Please note that registration in Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer is separate from registration for the Competitive Soccer season. Registration for the Competitive Soccer season opens on Wednesday, November 13 and ends at 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 21. Tryouts are required for Competitive Soccer. Tryouts for Competitive Soccer will be Wednesday, December 4. If you wish to try out for Competitive Soccer, you must register for that sports experience during the registration window. The Competitive Soccer season details will be available when registration opens on Wednesday, November 13. Participation in the Fall Developmental/Pre-Season Soccer season does not guarantee participants a spot on a Competitive Soccer team in spring. However, the skills and conditioning acquired in this developmental/pre-season sports experience should help student athletes become more prepared for tryouts.
There are no tryouts for developmental/pre-season sports experiences. Just make sure you are physically eligible and have paid your participation fee before beginning to participate. Don’t forget to come dressed in appropriate attire and bring your water bottle.
