Susan Mais

Susan Mais joined the Meridian staff in 2019 as the Primary Special Education Coordinator before becoming the Special Education Director in 2024. Susan is dedicated to ensuring inclusive education practices and support services for students with diverse learning needs at Meridian World School.
 
With over 10 years of experience in special education leadership, Susan collaborates closely with educators, families, and community partners to foster an environment where every student can thrive academically and socially. Her commitment to equity and excellence drives her advocacy for personalized learning plans and innovative instructional strategies that meet the unique needs of each student.
 
Susan holds a Bachelor's Degree with teaching certifications in both general education and special education. She is passionate about empowering educators and advocating for the educational rights of all students.
