Stefanie Zook
Stefanie Zook is a native Texan. She spent her early years growing up in west Texas in Abilene and Midland. Later her family would move to the Round Rock area where she graduated from Round Rock High School. Ms. Zook attended Texas State University earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Chemistry. While looking for a job in her field of study, education found her when she started substituting in schools and discovered her love for working with kids. She earned her teaching certificates and became a Special Education teacher, then science teacher in Pflugerville ISD. Ms. Zook earned her Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling in 2010 and began her counseling career in Round Rock ISD. Before coming to Meridian, she had been the lead School Counselor in Pflugerville ISD for grades 6-8. Ms. Zook is happily married to her husband, Ed, and they have 5 children together. In her spare time, she enjoys reading Sci-Fi novels, enjoying a hot cup of coffee, going camping with her family, and traveling (to a beach) whenever possible. Stefanie began at Meridian in 2021.
