Marissa Hernandez

Marissa Hernandez is thrilled to join Meridian’s First Grade team in August 2022. She has years of experience nurturing and guiding young minds from early childhood to elementary education. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Curriculum & Instruction. Mrs. Hernandez is a certified EC-6 ESL Generalist teacher. She is eager to build strong relationships with her students. She knows their school year together will be filled with creating friendships, achieving learning goals, navigating challenges, celebrating each other, and laughter! Her time away from the classroom is focused on her family, cheering on her children’s soccer teams, adventuring outdoors, and loving her dogs and chickens! Life is pleasantly full, and so is her cup of coffee!
