Jeannine Hightower

Ms. Jeannine Hightower was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but mostly raised right here in Round Rock, Texas. Ms. Hightower has Bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin along with a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in STEM that she received from Southern Methodist University in 2021. She's been teaching DP and MYP science since 2018, including biology and environmental systems and societies.
 
From 2021-2023, she taught internationally in Warsaw, Poland where she learned a lot about the importance of an IB education in fostering strong values and multicultural understanding.
 
Outside of school, Ms. Hightower enjoys hiking, yoga, spending time with her friends and family, and exemplifying the Hufflepuff qualities of hard work, dedication, patience, and loyalty. She joined Meridian in 2023 excited to be back in the Round Rock area and to join the Meridian family!
