Simon Nichols

Simon Nichols graduated from Meridian in 2018 and obtained dual degrees in World Culture and Literature, along with Political Science, from the University of Houston in 2022. After spending six months in Oaxaca, Mexico, he returned to Meridian in March 2023 as a dedicated long-term substitute teacher.
 
When not teaching Texas history, Simon loves cooking, hiking, and learning languages. Simon believes the most interesting part of social studies is the exploration of culture and society and loves Meridian for its culturally rich student body and celebration of diversity.
