Cayden Garvey
Mr. Garvey graduated from Texas Tech University and received his Bachelor's Degree, majoring in Music Education. Having graduated from middle school and high school in Round Rock ISD he is very familiar with the community around Meridian.
He is a percussion and band specialist with expertise across the whole spectrum of percussion instruments, including hand drums, steel drums, accessories, and more.
For his performance experience, Mr. Garvey has marched and played bass drum in Texas Tech University's "Goin' Band from Raiderland," as well as performed in their Concert Band, Steel Drum Band and Percussion Ensemble.
In addition to his college career, while in high school he performed as principal percussionist in the Texas Youth Wind Symphony, based out of the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Garvey's personal goals are to become a voice actor and perform as a musician in the soundtrack of a movie or video game.
In his free time he enjoys playing video games, composing music, and analyzing the music of video games, as well as relaxing and enjoying the company of his friends.
