Kendra Carreon

Kendra Carreon joined Meridian as a kindergarten teacher in August 2023. She developed a deep love and appreciation of Meridian when her oldest child began attending the school in 2019. Kendra was involved with the school first as a parent volunteer, then as a substitute teacher before earning her teaching certification.
 
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Before her teaching career, Kendra worked in child welfare and community corrections. She believes that providing a child with a strong community support system and a love of learning builds a strong foundation for their future. Kendra is certified in early childhood through the sixth grade and has completed Category 1 IB-PYP training.  She enjoys reading, traveling and learning more about the world around her.
