Asha Rao-Schertler

Asha Rao-Schertler joined Meridian in 2024 as the Fundraising and Development Specialist.  
 
Ms. Rao-Schertler was born and raised in Encinitas, California, north of San Diego. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2003. Asha worked in the biotech industry in San Diego until 2014 when she moved to Austin with her husband and (then) two children. 
 
Asha focuses on fostering connections and building bridges with families within Meridian's diverse community. Ms. Rao-Schertler aims to create an environment where families feel valued and are empowered to achieve their full potential. 
 
Asha and her family have been part of Meridian’s community since 2021 and have three children attending Meridian. Her family enjoys team sports, time at the beach and traveling.
