Megan Cunningham

Megan Cunningham joined the 5th grade team in July 2024.  She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Interior Design, and received her Masters of Elementary Education in 2011.
 
Mrs. Cunningham started her teaching career in Lubbock ISD at Roscoe Wilson Elementary, IB PYP World School in Lubbock, Texas. While in Lubbock, she served on several leadership committees and was involved in the PTA. She was recognized for her accomplishments in the classroom, including Teacher of the Year, PTA Teacher of the Year, and is recognized as a Master Teacher through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment. In 2023, Mrs. Cunningham and her family relocated to Round Rock. 
 
Mrs. Cunningham has spent her career teaching in an IB PYP classroom and has attended multiple advanced official IB-PYP trainings. She is an advocate for the program both as a teacher and as a parent. Her student centered classroom fosters voice and agency for all learners. 
 
Megan is married to her husband Andrew and they have two children, Kathryn and Peyton.
