Heather Mossell

Heather Mossell recently joined the Meridian team this year as a PYP Counselor. She is a Texas native who grew up in the DFW and Abilene areas, graduating from Cooper High School. After graduation, she moved to San Angelo where she earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science degree in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University. 
 
Ms. Mossell moved to the Austin area in 1999 and worked for the Head Start Program before accepting a teaching position in Leander ISD. She has worked for both Leander ISD and Burnet CISD in a variety of elementary and secondary teaching and counseling roles. In addition to working in the education field, she worked in the business world for many years assisting in the management of both a golf course and a restaurant among other positions.
 
Ms. Mossell has three daughters, including two adult children and one teenager, and one son-in-law. She enjoys travel, soccer, movies, and spending time with friends.
