Mark Wallace

I am Mark Wallace and I teach Chemistry and Physics. I retired from the Navy in 2009
and have had a couple small careers since then. While in the Navy, I served on three
different submarines and taught at the Navy’s Nuclear Power school in Charleston for
12 years. Also while in the service, I earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in
Nuclear Engineering Technology, and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering
Management.

I am an avid runner, typically running 35-40 miles a week. I also enjoy
traveling, cooking and video games. My philosophy of education is that all children are
unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow
mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere
where students can meet their full potential and make the most of their public
education.
