Kerry Werner

Karen Werner joined Meridian in July 2024. Karen has a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. She majored in Social Studies and English. Karen has spent two decades teaching in both public and private schools. She started her career teaching fourth grade in Fabens ISD. While in Fabens, she also served as the District Elementary Science Coordinator. Most recently, Karen worked for eleven years at a private school in El Paso. She taught third and fifth grades, as well as seventh and eighth grade English. In her free time, Karen enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her husband, father, and dogs.
