Nydia Martinez

Nydia Martinez has been a Meridian parent since 2018. She joined Meridian Staff as an MYP Special Education Instructional Assistant in 2023 and became a second grade teacher in 2024.
 
Mrs. Martinez graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. Upon graduation she worked as Foster Care Counselor, but after starting a family, she found a love for preschoolers and a passion for teaching. She got her Child Development Associate and taught Pre-Kindergarten for 15 years. Mrs. Martinez loves teaching and seeing the joy in children as they learn and grow. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
