Amber Baker

Ms. Amber Baker joins Meridian with 21 years of international teaching experience in Canada, England, Tanzania, South Africa, and Dubai. Amber has Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Windsor, Ontario along with a Master's in Education in Assessment and Quality Assurance from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.  She has worked in a variety of private and public schools around the globe and has International Baccalaureate qualifications and experience in DP, MYP and PYP. Amber's favorite subject areas to teach include Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Environmental Systems & Societies.
 
Ms. Baker is a mother of 2 boys who attend MWS and is actively involved in community service initiatives. She volunteers with therapeutic riding lessons, and spends her weekends watching her children swim and play soccer and hockey.
