Mayra Pérez

Mayra Pérez has worked with students with communication disorders since 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas Pan American. Mayra is bilingual in Spanish and has specialized in Assistive Technology to enhance students' participation in the classroom.
 
Mayra's speech therapy philosophy centers around fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to improve their communication abilities. She believes in the importance of individualized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs and strengths.
In her personal life, Mayra enjoys spending her spare time watching her daughters play volleyball. She values family time and finds joy in supporting her children's activities and interests.
