Darlene Ruiz

Mrs. Darlene Ruiz is originally from Los Angeles, California and relocated to Georgetown, Texas in 2019 with her husband, Jason, and their four children; Grace-Aaleyah born 2003, Julian-David born 2006, Jayden-Gabriel born 2016 and Jax-Taylor born 2018.

She considers her husband and her children her best friends. You can always find them participating in activities as a family; from snuggling up watching movies, exploring new places, or getting competitive on family game nights. She is family oriented and by far her greatest joy is motherhood. Although she will be assisting your child through their education journey at Meridian, y’all can feel confident and comfortable knowing that your children are in the best hands and will be loved and nurtured while in her care.

Mrs Ruiz began her career in education at a K-12 Charter school for six years in California, where she served on the Admin team and tutored children  during their summer programs.

 

She began exploring ABA Therapy as a Registered Behavioral Therapist. She provided one on one therapy to children with ASD. There she was responsible for behavioral support, skill building, and cooping skills to help children return safely and successfully to a school setting.

 

Until recently Mrs. Ruiz was teaching Montessori and obtained her accreditation in 2022 from Prepared Montessorian Institute which is accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council of Teacher Education (MACTE).

 

She is so excited to join Meridian and embody the International Baccalaureate learner profile while creating an environment of joyful learning that continues beyond the school years, and continue her education in early childhood education.
