Marcia Shields

Marcia Shields joined the Meridian staff in the Fall of 2015 as Meridian’s 7th grade Physical Education teacher. Ms. Shields grew up in Snyder, Texas and attended West Texas State University. Ms. Shields began teaching in 1978. She has taught Biology, Life Science, and Physical Education. Additionally, Ms. Shields taught adapted Physical Education and coached the Special Olympics for 15 years. Ms. Shields is certified to teach grades 1-12, and she has completed two IB-MYP trainings. She loves teaching, coaching, and working with the students. Marcia is a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan.
