Virginie Gentillet

Virginie started teaching at Meridian in 2016. She’s a longtime Meridian parent. She was born in France where she completed her Master's Degree in Spanish. She moved to Round Rock in 2004. Virginie is excited to share her love for languages and cultures. She believes that learning about other cultures and languages allows people to gain a better understanding of their own culture and language. She completed her Category 2 IB MYP training in July 2016, and her Category 1 and 2 DP Ab Initio training in July 2018. She will be teaching French 1, 2B, and 3. Virginie currently lives in Leander with her husband, her son (class of 2024), her daughter (class of 2026) and their cat. She's an avid reader.
