Elizabeth Briggs
Elizabeth Horton Briggs joined the Meridian staff in October 2016 as a first grade long-term substitute teacher. She became a permanent staff member as a fourth grade teacher in August of 2017. Elizabeth received her Bachelors degree in Education from Dallas Baptist University. She also has an Associates degree in Psychology and another in Practical Theology with an emphasis on family counseling. She has worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for adult immigrant students in Dallas and as a tutor for first grade students at a private school in Dallas. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Elementary Education. Elizabeth is certified in early childhood through sixth grade. She has completed Category 1 IB-PYP training.
