Monica Wilkens

Monica Wilkins joined the Meridian staff in August 2017 as a special education instructional assistant. Monica received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas State University and is certified to teach early childhood to fourth grade, English as a Second Language, and kinder through twelfth-grade special education. She worked as a special education teacher for several years in Round Rock ISD. During the summer, she combines her love of children and dogs by working for The Dog Alliance’s summer camp program. She teaches about dog bite prevention and dog care for kids. Monica is married and has three beautiful children.
