Enrichment Activity Schedule

Fall 2024
 
 
First Quarter 2024
Students will get acquainted with their Triple A group and leader. They will learn the Triple A schedule, rules, and expectations while allowing us to learn their needs and interests. 
Students will have the opportunity to come up with their own business idea or product. Think Shark Tank! They will create a business plan as well as a visual representation, and showcase their ideas at the Triple A Mini Job Fair.
Students will learn about space and space travel 
Students will explore and learn to appreciate Hispanic culture through games and crafts. 
Students will learn about wildlife and the environment through different enriching activities. 
Groups leaders will have the opportunity to share some of their hobbies and passions with the students through enriching activities. 
Students will participate in an organized, outdoor field day with different movement based activities.
Students will learn about the history of music and instruments as well as their impact. 
Students will learn about different countries, cultures and tourist attractions. 
 
Second Quarter 2024
Students will create their own commercials and short films. 
Students will learn about Día de los Muertos through relevant crafts, activities, and discussions.
Students will learn about the traditions of Diwali.
Students will make fall crafts and participate in fall themed activities
Students will show appreciation for veterans by creating letters of gratitude and crafts. 
Students will learn about different types of architecture and create their own architectural designs. 
Students will be guided through a variety of activities and crafts to demonstrate thankfulness for their home, school, community, each other, and themselves.
Students will be able to bring a costume/outfit/prop to show off on the runway during Triple A time. All items/outfits must be school appropriate and must be kept in the students backpack until Triple A time. 
 
Students will learn about different holidays and festivals through discussion, crafts, and activities. 
Group Leaders will plan a different winter themed crafts/activities for each day.
Students will learn about New Year's Resolutions and have the ability to create their own before winter break. 
 
Spring 2024
 
 
Third Quarter 2024
Students will learn about the life of MLK Jr. and write speeches to commemorate the day. 
Students, families, and friends will recite their own "Dream" speeches, and march around the building in honor of MLK Jr. day.

Students will learn about the history, traditions, and celebrations of The Chinese New Year.
Students will learn about different animals and their habitats. 
Students will learn about and celebrate the lives and contributions of African Americans.
Students will learn about different ways to live sustainably and ways to recycle responsibly. 
Students will explore the meaning of equity and practice ways to understand empowerment and inclusion.
Students will have the opportunity to show off their talents in the Triple A Talent Show.

Students will have the opportunity to show off their talents within their Triple A groups. 
Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of activities and skills based off the expertise of the Triple A leaders. Every other day the students will spend time with a different leader and learn more about their specific hobbies.
Students will learn about and have the opportunity to participate in different games, sports and fitness activities. 
 
Fourth Quarter 2024
Students will learn about the culture and history of Easter and participate in enriching activities that represent the holiday.
Students will learn about the culture and history of Ramadan and participate in enriching activities that represent the holiday.
Students will learn about the culture and history of Holi and participate in enriching activities that represent the holiday.
Students will participate in science experiments and learn about the ways we use science in everyday life. 
Students will participate in spring themed activities prepared by group leaders. 
Students will learn about the contributions and achievements of Asian American Pacific Islanders.
Students will learn an organized movie musical dance to perform for parents and guardians. 
Parents are invited to come watch students perform.

Students will create personalized vision boards with their goals for the future. 
 
*5th grade students will prepare for the 5th grade send off. 
 
Students will celebrate the end of the school year and their hard work on the Decades performance with a movie day. 
5th grade students will have a parade and small celebration with parents and guardians. 
 
*Parents and guardians of 5th grade students are invited to this event.
