Ashley Menefee

Ashley Menefee joined Meridian in July 2013 as a fourth grade teacher. Ashley has a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University, where she won the Elliot Award for Outstanding Performance as a student of education. She is certified in Prekindergarten through grade four and ESL (English as a Second Language) and has completed Category 1 and advanced IB-PYP training. Ashley began her career as an early childhood educator in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and prior to Meridian she taught fourth grade for three years in Rockwall, Texas. Ashley's goal has been to become a part of an outstanding school that honors the diversity of children while maintaining high academic expectations. She is happy to work to fulfill that goal at Meridian.
